I did a Raiders at Vikings/Avalanche at Wild doubleheader when I was in Minnesota 5 years ago (parked by the arena in St. Paul before the football game and cabbed to and from the Metrodome). Between pre-drinking before the football game, drinking at the football game, going to the bar across the street after the football game, drinking at the hockey game, and going to the bar across the street after the hockey game, I was pretty beat.

Wish I were in town this week. I’ve done back-to-back doubleheaders on the Friday and Saturday I’ve gone to spring training the last 3 years, but never done one during the regular season that was just baseball. I did an A’s/Earthquakes multi-sport doubleheader a couple of years ago however during the regular season.

Stubhub has tix at under $6 for Wednesday night, though a single would be $15 or so with the fees. Apparently, th etickets.com dynamic engine hasn’t caught up with reality.

Did the Wrigley/Comiskey double once, as well as a Wrigley/Miller Park one.
