I live 2 blocks away, on Beach Hill, and lived here for almost a decade now. I know some of our neighbors dislike its presence. But the Warriors in Santa Cruz is one of those great ideas we never thought we needed (as they recently published in Santa Cruz Weekly). Surely I get annoyed when traffic is rerouted on game nights, and surely the soundproofing could be better. But these are little inconveniences.

It’s such a great addition to Santa Cruz. The architecture is horrible, but what it adds to the sense of community we have here is amazing. Another thing to be proud of in Santa Cruz.

I can’t believe that all the residents of Santa Cruz are going to be happy having to listen to this night after night.. I for one am not. Why isn’t there better sound proofing in the building? .. Or are the loud speakers on the outside of the building? It’s horrible and so wrong for Santa Cruz.
