• MLB cancels the rest of spring training and postpones the regular season for at least two weeks; MLB Spring Training in jeopardy, regular season likely postponed; City of Oakland announces similar restrictions on 1,000+ crowds as SF/SJ; World Baseball Classic qualifiers in Tucson cancelled
• NBA regular season suspended after Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert tested positive for coronavirus; Mavs owner Mark Cuban announced plans to pay Dallas arena workers during the downtime
• NHL regular season suspended, no timeline for a restarting play yet
• MLS regular season suspended for at least 30 days
• Oakland Roots home opener to play 3/15, closed to public
• NCAA announced that its upcoming tournaments will be played without fans in attendance (cancellation a reality possibility); Duke and Kansas both declined to participate in the men’s tourney; several conference tournaments have been canceled (Big Ten, Big-12, Pac-12, SEC, ACC, other mid-majors)
