As part of recent coverage of the Rays’ desires to leave the Trop, the Tampa Tribune took a look at four cities who had been and could be future relocation candidates. While the four (San Antonio, Portland, Charlotte, Las Vegas) still have boosters or other groups waiting in the wings, to say that they’re ready to pluck the Rays (or A’s) from their current respective homes is a bit of a stretch.

“Our friends over at BeInAMovie.com are offering you the chance to be in the movie Moneyball, starring Brad Pitt and Jonah Hill! In the film, Brad Pitt plays Oakland A’s coach Billy Beane and this summer they will be shooting a fake baseball game in Oakland, but they need your help filling the stands!
As part of your day on the stadium set, you’ll be able to watch Brad Pitt and Jonah Hill film the most important baseball scenes for the film. Though these won’t be paid extras positions, during your time on set you’ll be eligible for raffle prizes including giftcards, DVDs and baseball tickets.
